As a young non-profit engaged in researching and distributing work relevant to a complex and technical legal process, Americans for Forfeiture Reform is indebted to the work of its interns, who assist with many and novel tasks that require time, effort, and patience. We’d like to extend our thanks to AFR interns Greg Young and Grant Watkins, 2 students from the University of Missouri-Columbia, who have assisted in many of these tasks that result in publishable or deliverable work. Greg is a student in the journalism and political science departments, and Grant is a student of history and theatre. They have done excellent work on challenging subjects, and we are very grateful for their continued presence. Next semester, we’ll be welcoming to the team Boris Graypel, a graduating senior from Saint Louis University studying health management & policy.

And yes, we do pay our interns; unpaid internships aren’t very fun, and are used in exploitative ways by many organizations. If you’d like to help support their work, please consider making an one-time or recurring donation using the Paypal buttons on the sidebar.

If you are interested (or know someone who is interested)  in an internship, we are looking for students with a passion for civil liberties. Internships can be conducted remotely, and we are looking for interns specifically located in Kansas City or Washington DC.
